The joint venture formed by SILO and Cinfo has been awarded the technical assistance contract for the analysis of needs for the implementation of sectorial digital twins (industrial, agricultural and rural), promoted by the Agency for the Technological Modernization of Galicia (AMTEGA), in a project that will have the collaboration of the Laboratory of Territorial Studies of Galicia.
The project is divided into four work packages for each twin. The first three, led by SILO, focus on the definition of sectoral digital twins, the analysis of available data sources and the proposal of new data sources, respectively, around a series of proposed use cases for each twin. The fourth, accompanying the deployment of the digital twins, will be led by Cinfo.
The project is currently in the launching phase of the industrial sector digital twin, in which an initial diagnosis of the available data sources will be carried out. This analysis will allow the construction of the first three use cases that will be part of the industrial digital twin: a panel of socio-economic indicators, a map of industrial land, and a search engine for industrial plots.
This contract, the first that SILO develops with AMTEGA, represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen ties and reinforce our positioning in one of the reference agencies in Galicia in the field of technology and innovation.
The project is led by Katia Pérez, SILO’s regional director in Galicia, together with the ETI team, coordinated by Ana Belén González and consultants Fernando Ladrón de Guevara and Raúl Molinos.
